Southern Style Sausage Biscuits with Gravy

Ingredients:
| 1 pkg Gimme Lean® Sausage, 14 oz each | | 1 pkg refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough, 12 oz each | | 1 Tbsp olive oil | | 2 Tbsp vegan vegetable oil spread | | 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour | | 2 cup plain soy milk | | 1 tsp ground black pepper |
Bake biscuits according to package directions.
In a non-stick skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Crumble Gimme Lean® Sausage into skillet and break up pieces with a spatula. Heat Gimme Lean® Sausage until browned, stirring often. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan, heat margarine over medium heat until melted. Whisk in the flour to make a roux. Add the milk in a slow steady stream stirring with a whisk continuously. Continue stirring until thick. Add browned Gimme Lean® Sausage to the roux. Season with pepper.
To serve, split biscuits in half on plate. Ladle sausage gravy over top. Enjoy!
