New England Beans and Franks

Ingredients:


1 pkg (13.5 oz) Smart Dogs® Jumbo, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 pkg (5 oz) Smart Bacon®, cut into 1-inch pieces
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1 cup onions, diced
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon reduced sodium soy sauce
2 cans (15oz each) navy beans, drained and rinsed
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper

Heat oven to 300°F. In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook about 5 minutes or until soft. In a large bowl, whisk together ketchup, maple syrup, mustard and soy sauce. Stir in onion, beans, Smart Dogs and Smart Bacon; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a two-quart baking dish; cover with foil and bake about 30 minutes or until sauce bubbles.
